Job description

As a Supply Chain Intern at Argent, you will support the planning, shipping, and contract management team. You will work closely with different colleagues within the supply chain team and have the opportunity to learn more about different supply chain activities. The focus will be on supporting the teams in the day to day operations in combination with participating in improvement projects.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Support the planning and shipping team with creating/processing purchase & sales orders in the ERP system for a variety of products such as feedstocks, chemicals, biodiesel and waste products.

  • Create discharge and loading references for 3rd party tank rental customers.

  • Support suppliers with questions or updates in the required paperwork.

  • Maintain and automize KPI & cost reporting to identify possible improvements for different areas within Supply Chain such as shipping, logistics & planning.

  • Support contract manager with KYC documentation.

  • Create process descriptions & work instructions for undocumented processes.

Job requirements

About you

To be successful in this position you should recognize yourself in the following points:

  •          Currently enrolled in a HBO related to Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar field.

  •          Organised, with strong attention to detail.

  •          Good communication skills and a team player.

  •          Able to juggle multiple tasks and set the right priorities.

  •          Proactive and positive approach.
